Book Review: A weird little novel about a family in crisis. They live in the everglades of Florida wrestle alligators and run a failing gator park.
Did I like it?
Yes,  It took me about three chapters to really get invested but the author did a good job of devoloping the charactors and I got sucked into their story.
The Good
This story takes you on a ride, each character in the book has such a different journey but somehow they all end up in the same place by the end. There is nothing cheesy about this book, I would not say that the ending is a happy one, but it left me feeling satisfied.
The not so good
I found myself skimming some of the book to “get back to the story”.   The author tended to over describe some of the scenery, or go off on a tangent about swamp history it didn’t always flow well with the story.

I really liked this book, its a quick read and keeps you entertained.
